Welcome to the Dutch Chalet, located in Malpeque (Green Gables), Prince Edward Island. This quaint chalet is the perfect destination for those who desire a relaxing vacation, and for those who seek a little adventure! Our chalet is located in a quiet subdivision with 6 other cottages.  It is quiet and peaceful here.  You will truly feel like you had a vacation when you return back to your hectic schedule.

Cabot Provincial Park is just 2 KM down the road on King Street.  On your way there, you can stop off at the world famous Malpeque Harbour to see the boats in the harbour.  If you’re up for it, you can purchase the “catch of the day” to take back to the chalet for supper.

Cabot Beach is a beautiful beach and has waters as warm as the Carolinas.  You have so many beaches to choose from.  Among our favourites, Thunder Cove at Darnley and Cousins Shore.  Thunder Cove is only a 10 minute drive from the Dutch Chalet.

We hope you enjoy Prince Edward Island, as it is my birthplace.  I return several times a year and am always awestruck at its beauty.
